2025 Captain Islands Invitational Race

The Douglaston Yacht Squadron's Captain Islands Invitational Race is an annual 26-nautical-mile, season-ending sailing competition that serves as the grand finale for the Western Long Island Sound Triple Crown Trophy. Competitors start off City Island, NY, and head to Little Captain Island, CT. After rounding the island, sailors race back to Eastchester Bay, with the results also counting toward other prestigious divisional trophies.

All participants are invited to attend the post-regatta party at the Douglaston Club immediately after their finish. Complimentary beer, wine and BBQ at the Club House will be available to attendees. Complimentary guest moorings and launch service in the Douglaston Anchorage will also be provided.

Trophies will be awarded at the 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony in the Club House on Wednesday, 3 December, 1900 Hrs. Call ahead for reservations.
