Founded in 1918, the Douglaston Club is a unique and private yacht, tennis and pool club situated in the heart of the most desirably pleasant sections of New York City; only minutes away by train to Manhattan, but a world away in lifestyle.

The Douglaston Club offers a rich sailing and tennis history - from America’s Cup winners and Grand Slam Tennis champions, to our own children's swim team champs.

Combine that with top rated cuisine in a comfortable dining atmosphere, there is something for the whole family to enjoy: from formal fireside tables, to the old world feel of outdoor dining on the veranda of a historic manor house, to family meals on a shaded patio by the pool, our Executive Chef, Franciso Yepes, makes sure every experience is a memorable and delicious one.

Tennis & Pickle Ball

The Douglaston Club features three Har-Tru courts, two hard courts, and two pickleball courts for Members and their guests. The show-court, named after our very own John McEnroe, provides a generous space for spectators for some memorable moments. Offering energetic drills, league play, fun holiday round-robin mixers for all levels, extensive Jr. Summer Camp, as well as after-school programs.
